			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Okay, you&#8217;ve decided you want to make money with Affiliate Marketing. So, you join some affiliate programs and start submitting free ads to newsletters and free advertising classifieds sites. You&#8217;re going to make BIG money now &#8212; right?</p>
<p>Nope! Sorry! Just sending out a few ads is not going to do it. Not if you want to be a real success.</p>
<p>You must first determine your passion. I mean other than making the money! What is your hobby? What do you know how to do REALLY well? What is your job? Everyone has something that is their own special talent. Find yours.</p>
<p>You probably have more than one thing that you are very interested in and do well. See if you can find five (ten if you&#8217;re really ambitious). Write them down in a list. Remember, you are going to be spending a lot of time working with this subject. Make sure you enjoy it!</p>
<p>Go down each item on your list. Start writing a rough outline of everything you know about the topic. It doesn&#8217;t have to be elaborate. This is just to give you an idea of how much information is available for a given subject.</p>
<p>Try mind mapping. Write down the main subject of your idea. Draw a circle around it. Now, start thinking of sub-categories that are related to your main category. Draw a line from your main category and end it with a circle. Put the sub-category title inside this circle. Find as many sub-categories (and sub-sub-categories) as you can.</p>
<p>Go through each of your interests with this procedure. Choose the one that you know the most about and that you can write about comfortably.<br />
<br />What if you &#8220;think&#8221; you don&#8217;t know enough about your topic? Then, do some research. Read books and magazines. Do some searches on the Internet. Who knows? You might find an area, a niche, that is just waiting for you to fill it with useful information.</p>
<p>There&#8217;s a lot more to affiliate marketing, of course. But the first step is to find your passion. Your &#8220;passion&#8221; doesn&#8217;t have to be making money on the Internet. It can be cooking, sewing, billiards, or whatever. In fact, it&#8217;s better if you find a niche that isn&#8217;t in the online marketing arena because that&#8217;s what nearly everyone else is doing.</p>
<p>Make your topic unique. Make it yours. And make it your passion. It will pay you well.</p>

Throughout school we have written an endless number of essays and articles and from a personal point of view I hardly ever looked forward to the prospect of writing. It seemed so difficult to keep the flow of an article going, and many times I use to run out of points to mention, making the content uninteresting and bland. However, at a time when article writing can dramatically improve website promotion, it is a method that should not be avoided.</p>
<p>Although there are a great number of people who like to write articles, either to promote their product or website, or to display their expertise in an area, there are also many more that would rather walk on hot coals than to sit down and write out an article. The key between the two sets of people is that one is prepared and has methods and procedures in place to quickly and effectively write articles, and the other does not plan at all.</p>
<p>One of the best ways to prepare yourself is to make an outline first. This will make you prepared for what you want to get across in the article and make the article flow. Using an outline you can start with the idea that you initially have for the article and make a plan for the succeeding steps. This will not only make the article more readable and understandable, but also make article writing easier and faster.</p>
<p>Rather than to sit and think of different sections of an article, an outline will provide a clear introduction, body and conclusion. Also brainstorm sentences and ideas that you feel would compliment the article and contribute to the impact it may have on a reader. These points could make the article creative, interesting and appealing to the reader.</p>
<p>Here I will provide a few tips and guidelines so that you can create an outline for all of your articles:</p>
<p>Do a brainstorming session and write down the good ideas that usually come to you first. Imagine being in the readers&#8217; position and think of what might attract their interest. Assign a time frame that you aim to stick to, where you can write down all of your ideas and do any research that you may need to do. Review the ideas that you have jotted down and become familiar with the topic so that writing them in the article will be easy.</p>
<p>Next, determine the sub topic and sub titles of the article. If your article has apparent sections, you will then be able to make them clear for the reader using sub titles.</p>
<p>Now you can begin to add the &#8220;meat&#8221; of the article. You will need to connect all of your paragraphs and sub topics to form the body of the article. While you will have an introduction that will guide into the ideas of your paragraph, you will also need a conclusion to conclude your points and to drive in the purpose of the article.</p>
<p>Your article outline will also require you to write a draft. This may be required several times so that the outline is perfected as more drafts are written. The draft is meant for your eyes only so experiment with paragraphs and sentences so that the article reads how you see fit. As you write more drafts you will see clearly how the article progresses to the verge of being complete.</p>
<p>Re-read what you have written. Always refer to your outline so that you keep to the guidelines that you have set out for yourself. It&#8217;s very easy to get caught up in a particular sentence and to go off at a tangent. Your outline should stop this from happening. All the time spent writing out your outline should not go to waste. Trust and rely on your outline because it can prove to be a very helpful tool in writing all of your articles.</p>

<p>I would like to take a look at FIVE copywriting principles and show you that they are as old as the Scriptures. This article is not meant to &#8216;convert&#8217; you so read with an open mind &#8230; ready? Let&#8217;s go!</p>
<p><strong>1. Stress benefits not features.</strong></p>
<p>It&#8217;s the Garden of Eden. The serpent approaches the woman Eve to get her to take of the forbidden fruit. Does he rave about the color, taste and texture of the fruit? No, he sells Eve on benefits. &#8220;Your eyes will be opened, you will be like God &#8230;&#8221; (Genesis 3:4). Now that&#8217;s a benefit, not a feature at all. And did Eve fall for it? She surely did.</p>
<p>That may seem like a &#8216;negative&#8217; example &#8211; a plain deception. But look at what the book of Revelation promises the &#8220;overcomer&#8221;. Eternal life, health, recognition, wealth and mansions without mortgages.</p>
<p><strong>2. Use lots of testimonials.</strong></p>
<p>If you have just a cursory knowledge of the Bible you know that the gospels of Matthew, Mark Luke and John make up the first four books of the New Testament. They all cover the same ground and share many common stories. So why would we need four different people saying practically the same thing?</p>
<p>You see they all wanted to tell THEIR story about the Rabbi Jesus Christ. So the writers (all satisfied customers) relate the life-changing encounter they each had &#8211; the more testimonies the better.</p>
<p>The entire Bible relates stories of peoples encounter with the supernatural and how it affected their lives. In fact, Jesus related to the disciples after His miraculous resurrection that all the Old Testament was really about Him.</p>
<p>3. &#8220;Create a damaging admission and address flaws openly&#8221;</p>
<p>That&#8217;s the title to chapter 3 of the master copywriter Dan Kennedy&#8217;s book &#8220;The Ultimate Sales Letter&#8221;. He goes on to explain that if you openly admit the drawbacks of your offer then your credibility goes up instantly with the customer. For example, your price may be higher than your competitors so you may say: &#8220;If you are looking to save a few bucks then you can find many other companies who will be willing to give you some &#8216;quick fixes&#8217;. But we provide a very thorough and expert service, hence the higher price&#8221;</p>
<p>You are admitting that you are expensive but showing why &#8211; the customer gets a superior service.</p>
<p>In the gospels we see many potential disciples who wanted to follow Jesus and he told them openly that it was a sacrificial walk. He told them in no uncertain terms that it involved a &#8220;cross&#8221;, leaving father and mother behind, even possible death &#8211; but you will gain eternal life in the process. Talk about a &#8220;damaging admission.</p>
<p>4. Place a limit on your offer to motivate procrastinators.</p>
<p>This is a very important element of the &#8220;call to action&#8221; section of any sales letter. Humans are naturally procrastinators. We always put off what should be done now for a &#8216;later&#8217; that never arrives. That is why the copywriter must show that supplies are limited or the special offer is for a &#8216;limited time only&#8217;.</p>
<p>In many &#8216;call to action&#8217; sections of the Bible we see the same warning to procrastinators. &#8220;Today if you hear my voice do not harden your heart ..&#8221; (Hebrews 3:7). In the story of the great flood procrastinators were found outside the ark. Jesus told the story of the covetous farmer who built bigger barns to store his grains not knowing that death would come knocking on his door that very night.</p>
<p>Jesus never sent one of his listeners to go away and think about it. Today &#8230; now, was the only time that anyone had. His message was &#8220;ACT NOW!&#8221;</p>
<p>5. Research your potential customers to know their problems and needs.</p>
<p>Dan Kennedy refers to this as &#8220;getting into the customer&#8221;. Getting into the head and experiences of the customer -walk in his moccasins.</p>
<p>The whole Christmas story is about Jesus getting into the skin &#8211; literally &#8211; of the customer. The writer of Hebrews says that Jesus is touched by our feelings and infirmities. He became like one of us so that He may understand &#8220;the customer&#8221; better. That is why he could speak to the needs of the human heart with such authority because he knows what is in man.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve just briefly looked at 5 copywriting principles but this applies across the board. Whether you accept the Bible as just another book or as inspired writings, there is no denying that the principles are there.</p>
<p>I would love to hear from the reader if he or she would like to challenge me on finding a useful copywriting principle that&#8217;s not in the Bible.</p>

<p>You could study a few books to learn how to write great salesletters, but if you are a beginner you might get confused in this way. It&rsquo;s a better idea to buy one good book and try first learning from it. Then you might get another book. But it takes time, so in the meantime you can read this article and it should be enough to write a good salesletter. To be successful at internet marketing you need to first learn a little bit, and then take action. You will learn by doing it. It&rsquo;s the best way to learn. So let&rsquo;s learn the basic steps of writing salesletters.</p>
<p>First, read some other salesletters about similar products as yours. Of course, don&rsquo;t copy or plagiarize, but you get some good ideas and get inspired.<br />
<br />Second, write an interesting headline. The headline is very important. If the headline doesn&rsquo;t catch people&rsquo;s interest, they won&rsquo;t read your salesletter, however interesting it is.<br />
<br />Write the headline in red, black or blue and use bigger font than for the rest of the page.</p>
<p>Third, tell a story. Tell about some problems people have in your niche. Then tell them how the thing you are selling can solve their problems.<br />
<br />Fourth, using bullet points or lists, tell people about all the benefits of your product. Write about as many benefits as you can.</p>
<p>Fifth, finish your newsletter calling for action. It means that you need to tell people to &ldquo;buy now&rdquo;. You need to tell them also why they should &ldquo;buy now&rdquo; Try to find some good reasons why they should act now. Otherwise people will procrastinate.</p>
<p>You can also make your salesletter better if you use the word &ldquo;you&rdquo; often. Use it more often than &ldquo;I&rdquo;, &ldquo;we&rdquo; or &ldquo;us&rdquo; combined.</p>
<p>Make your salesletter simple. The background should be white. Most of the text should be black. Use other colors to emphasize certain phrases.</p>
<p>Use a lot of &ldquo;buzz phrases&rdquo;, in proper context, that are important to your niche. Make these words more visible by highlighting or underlining them, or make them bold, italic, etc. But don&rsquo;t overemphasize. Be selective. Emphasize the most important phrases only.<br />
<br />Don&rsquo;t use caps too much. Don&rsquo;t use too many images either. Better none, than too many.<br />
<br />Offer money back guarantee. It will increase your sales conversion.<br />
<br /><strong>To make people &ldquo;act now&rdquo; offer some bonuses.</strong><br />
<br />Be honest; don&rsquo;t over-exaggerate the benefits of your product.</p>
<p>Don&rsquo;t try to make your salesletter perfect at first. Just write it, and then you can work on improving your salesletter.</p>

After reading your interesting article, the reader clicks on your link in the last paragraph to learn more.  Every article I have read about Ezine article writing has been quite honest in stating that Ezine is a proven traffic generator, but that it requires work.  That is does.  If you are a newbie, this article has information that will get you off to the right start.  If you are an experienced article writer, let us review the steps to see why the process requires so much work, and what we can do to lessen the time required.</p>
<p>The first step is to write an interesting article on a particular subject.  The article should be over 500 words, as that is a requirement of most submittal sites.  Be sure to read the Submittal Guidelines of each site before submitting your article.</p>
<p>Next comes the preparation of a list of sites to submit your article.  The person who said &#8220;easier said than done&#8221; must have been an Ezine article writer!  The accepted guideline is to submit your article to at least 100 sites, but the more the better.  Using Internet sources I made a list of 100 sites, but as I checked them out the list was suddenly reduced to 25.  Some sites were no longer in operation, some were simply not article submit sites, others were subject specific, not applicable to my subject, and other problems.  Eventually, from a list of around 300, I finally compiled my initial list of 100 sites to submit my article.  This was a time consuming task.</p>
<p>Next comes the submitting of your article to various article sites.  This is pretty straightforward.  Visiting a site for the first time will require becoming a member.  This involves filling out a short information form, perhaps submitting a photo, and then activating your account from the authorization sent to your listed e-mail address.  Subsequent logins to the site are much faster as one can go directly to Member Sign In and then to Submit Articles.  Now it is time to submit your article.  Select a Category, then cut and paste each element of your article from your word processor to the data input form on the site.  Cut and paste the Title, Summary, Body, Resource Box, Bio info, and Keywords into the form on the site.  Sounds easy, it is easy, but again a tedious time consuming process.</p>
<p>Recognizing this as a very real problem, a number of innovative companies have come up with tools to lessen the time required to submit an article.  No, I am not talking about Robot systems that are frowned upon.  In fact, even if such systems were allowed would you really want the article that you worked so hard on, submitted without seeing that it was done properly?</p>
<p>This is where the article submitter program comes into play.  These programs allow you to submit your articles to hundreds of article directories and can save you an incredible amount of time in doing so. You simply enter your article details into the software once, and then select the directory you would like to submit to. The software will then, automatically fill in all of the submission criteria for each directory and allow you to quickly submit your articles.</p>
<p>Try one of these programs, and take advantage of one of the easiest ways to submit articles and generate traffic to your website.  Stop wasting time on list building and cutting and pasting.</p>

<p><strong>Spontaneous Personality Type</strong></p>
<p>The spontaneous personality type is the most open to exploration. They are the trend-setters, the early adopters, who blaze the trail for everyone else. They will take risks. But not unless you offer to fill the chief need for something better, something that will let them to grow beyond what they are.</p>
<p>Surprise them. Intrigue them with the unexpected and they&#8217;ll make that leap of faith with you. Present them with the boring old status quo approach and they&#8217;ll move on to something more intriguing.</p>
